Rank 1 - Officer This rank refers to the Council that runs the guild as a cabinet. This rank is not one of privilege, but rather responsibility. Councilors are in charge of the day to day running of the guild in all matters. This includes activities such as but not limited to; moderating guild chat, mediating disputes, recruiting new members, organizing nightly raids, distributing loot, maintaining the DKP system, updating and upholding the rules of the guild, managing inter-guild politics and watching out for the general welfare of the guild.
Rank 2 - Banker This rank is only for guild bank characters.
Rank 3 - Member Members are exactly what the name implies: full members of the guild. They are active and working to add to the guild in whatever way they can, be it materials, money, raiding, advise, etc… It must be emphasized that a Member is expected to put raiding with the guild at the nightly raid time above other in game priorities. If a Raider is online and needed in the raid, they are expected to raid. Period. This is a guild focused on end game content which revolves mainly around raids. While everyone is encouraged to play the game to its fullest and have fun, the guild's direction must be kept in mind.
Rank 4 - Probate Everyone recruited is brought on as a trial member or probate first. They will remain at the probationary rank for 4-6 weeks or at the officers discretion. If the officers believe they have enough information or incentive to remove said recruit from the guild before the trial membership is up, they shall do so at their own discretion. It is very important for the recruited to take advantage of this time period to show that they will be an asset to the guild. During the assigned three to four weeks the officers will be watching those of probationary rank to note their progress, willingness to help, attendance and behavior.
Rank 5 - Friend This rank is for family members of our Raiders and for former Raiders who for one reason or another can no longer meet the raiding requirements. This affords them a way to be with friends without leaving the guild. Casual members are allowed to raid but will not hold any priority in getting a raid spot.
Rank 6 - Alt This rank pretty much self explanatory. This is the rank for the alternate characters of people who are already members. For example; if Bob has a level 58 warlock, is around often, and generally plays this character, then Bob's warlock is considered to be his "main". However, if Bob then decides he wants to level a hunter on the side in addition to maintaining his warlock main, then the hunter is considered to be his "alt" and will be eligible for membership once it reaches level 45 or another level determined by the council of officers.
Rank 7 - AFK This rank is for full-members who are unable to play for an extended period of time.
